Weather

The old joke goes, "If you don't like the weather in St. Louis, just wait five minutes--it'll change." The weather is unpredictable here because air masses from Canada and the Gulf of Mexico frequent the area, and you never know when they'll strike simultaneously. Be prepared for anything. Winter may bring five inches of snow one day and 50-degree Fahrenheit temperatures the next. A thunderstorm may spring up, dropping air temperatures from 90 to 70 (degrees Fahrenheit) in an hour.
